Atherton is divided into 14 neighborhood areas. Even though Atherton is small, it is susceptible to a wide range of potential disasters. Our March community meeting will focus on what hazards and disasters are unique to your area within Atherton--consider train collisions or even reservoir flooding!
Let's keep the 2021 momentum going with one of the most requested training topics -- radio communications! Our very own radio expert, Jon Mosby, will walk us through the importance of radio communications during a disaster.
On January 2nd, start out the new year with a workshop on home safety basics. To promote preparedness and resilience, we will be hosting a virtual panel of experts, including a practicing physician and the Menlo Park Fire Marshal/Division Chief, to present and answer your questions.
