A.D.A.P.T. Community Meeting
Sat., Mar. 6th at 9:00 AM via Zoom

Preparedness for all areas and just yours.

Atherton is divided into 14 neighborhood areas. Even though Atherton is small, it is susceptible to a wide range of potential disasters. Our March community meeting will focus on what hazards and disasters are unique to your area within Atherton--consider train collisions or even reservoir flooding!

Don’t know your area number? Find it on our home page here. Just search by your address.

You’ll leave this meeting knowing more about your Atherton neighborhood, what you can do to prepare yourself, where your EAP sign is located, and who your Area Coordinator is.

As always, this meeting will include time for Q&A and will be recorded for future use on our website.

Volunteer Spotlight

A.D.A.P.T. is led by a board of directors and our newest board member is Jerry Leugers!

He joined in the beginning of 2021 to serve as our Treasurer. He is no stranger to A.D.A.P.T. as he helps maintain our three supply trailers (located throughout the Town). In fact, Jerry initially got involved with A.D.A.P.T. through his wife and the friendly persuasion of another solid A.D.A.P.T. volunteer: Wally Sleeth.

Thank you Jerry and welcome!

There are many ways to engage with A.D.A.P.T, including volunteering and financial support! Check out our website for our volunteer opportunities, we are currently looking for an Area Coordinator in area 5.

We’re always grateful and encouraged when we witness this team grow in size and strength.

Last Month’s Meeting

We hope you enjoyed the presentation on radio communication basics at our February community meeting. The video recording and other related resources are available on the meeting recap page. Thank you to presenter Jon Mosby for an informative and engaging overview!
